The 4th Mars Rover, aptly titled Curiosity, completed its 350-million mile journey on August 6th 2012, successfully landing in Gale Crater on Mars. The main goal of the car-sized globetrotter is to study the red planet’s climate and geology, and determine whether or not it has ever supported microbial life. Curiosity sent back this staggering panorama, illuminating the extraterrestrial landscape.
